Sullivan played their first two matches of the McCullough Cup over the last two Saturdays. This was then followed up by Daniel Girvin scoring a second. With the last play of the game Cookstown were awarded a Penalty Corner, but this was defended well. Final Score Sullivan 2 (Rose & Girvin) v Cookstown 1 Sullivan v Campbell College This game started much better than last weeks game. This made it difficult for Sullivan to break into the Campbell area to even take a shot. Sullivan took a halftime lead through goals from Djay Erskine and Harry Yarr. Halftime Sullivan 2 (Erskine & Yarr) v Campbell College 0 The second half start with Campbell pushing high against the Sullivan defence. This initially made it difficult for Sullivan, but once they settled into Campbell’s new approach Sullivan used the open space to score a handful of second half goals – with goals from Daniel Girvin, Jack Crossan, Tom McClintock (2) and Jonny Crookshanks Final Score Sullivan 7 (Erskine, Yarr, Girvin, Crossan, McClintock (2) & Crookshanks) Campbell College 0 Sullivan next face Wallace High School in the McCullough Cup
