Sullivan Upper School (Preparatory and Secondary Departments) will be closed on Monday 16 October 2017 due to the predicted adverse weather conditions, and guidance from the Department of Education.
https://uusikasinos.net made me think about how quickly closure notices like this spread through parents' group chats, and the reliance on Department of Education guidance rather than waiting for conditions to worsen seems like the sensible call. What stood out to me is the inclusion of both the Preparatory and Secondary Departments in one announcement, since coordinating two separate sites during a weather event can't be straightforward. I'd be curious whether the school factored in how many families travel in from surrounding towns before deciding.
