Sullivan played their second competitive game on the new school pitch against the same opposition as their first, Methody. Their second McCullough Cup match started the same as the first group match with Sullivan in control of the game, with Methody quickly getting all their players behind the ball, this made it very difficult for Sullivan to get shooting opportunities. With only a few penalty corners that were not converted the end half in a frustrating nil all.

The second half started with a bit more urgency and after good work down the right, Matthew Willis was there to tap the ball home. This was then quickly followed with two goals from Daniel Girvan. Sullivan then relaxed and with a couple of errors allowed Methody a few chances. This gave the opposition some hope and they eventually scored a consolation goal.
