Giro d‘Italia Cycle Race Arrangements

We have received information from DE and Translink in relation to the Giro d’Italia sessions on Friday 9 May 2014.

There is likely to be disruption to travel in the Greater Belfast area and to school transport in the afternoon.  The morning buses should be running as normal and the first road closures are not anticipated until 9.30 am.

In the afternoon, we will operate the following amended timetable in order to assist with reducing congestion around the school.

Pupils who require school bus services to Belfast/Comber will be released at 2.25 pmTranslink have stated that they cannot guarantee that the full school bus service will be in operation.

The remaining pupils will be released at 3.00 pm

Pupils who wish to get the Bangor bus may wait in the Assembly Hall as these buses are expected at the normal time.  Translink have stated that they cannot guarantee that the full school bus service will be in operation.

Parents may wish to consider alternative arrangements in advance.
