Holywood pupils quiz rugby legends at Ulster Bank’s RBS 6 Nations Trophy Tour
Ulster Bank brought the RBS 6 Nations Trophy and Triple Crown to Sullivan Upper School Holywood today (10 February 2015) where enthusiastic fans quizzed rugby heroes Stephen Ferris and Chris Henry on Ireland’s progress.
Enjoying the preview of the new RBS 6 Nations trophy are 1st XV and Medallion captains Max Clarke and Adam McKenna along with their coach and former Ireland international Willie Anderson.
Highlights of the two-day NI leg of the Trophy Tour include a visit to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, a trip to Ballymena Academy and Queen’s students union, rugby clubs Instonians and Ballynahinch.
Ulster Bank’s RBS 6 Nations Trophy Tour is a 5 day action packed event visiting 12 Northern Ireland venues across Belfast, Holywood, Ballynahinch, Ballymena and Derry-Londonderry. Having started in Dublin it then continues to Sligo, Galway, Limerick and Shannon.
Ulster Bank is official community rugby partner to the IRFU which includes sponsorship of the Ulster Bank League and Awards, and the Club International. Local clubs are the focus of Ulster Bank Rugby Force an initiative which helps improve facilities and encourages local people to get involved with their local clubs.
