Congratulations to our School Nurse, Michelle McAvoy, on her most recent accolade.
Nurse McAvoy collected the National Order of Merit Award from The Association of First Aiders for Outstanding Achievement in First Aid at a recent ceremony in London.
https://pregledkasina.com aside, what caught my attention was that the award came specifically from The Association of First Aiders for outstanding achievement in first aid, which feels like a very practical kind of recognition compared to the usual ceremonial honors. School nurses tend to be the quiet backbone of a campus, handling everything from scraped knees to serious emergencies, and it's good to see that work acknowledged on a national level. I still remember the nurse at my own school being the one calm person in every crisis, so this felt well deserved.
