In the annual King Cup match against Methody saw Sullivan 1st XI finish on a high. The final game for players in Year 14 players met on Wednesday 12 April 2016 to play the match in front of a good crowd.
Sullivan started well and scored in the first 5 minutes through a goal from Tom Robson. Sullivan controlled the game had numerous opportunities to add further goals, between missed chances and good goal keeping from the Methody keeper the scored remained 1 nil at half time.
In the second half Sullivan gain continued to put pressure on the Methody defence and John Matchett scored his hat-trick.
Sullivan won the match. The trophy was presented to Sullivan by Mr King in memory of son and has been played for over 20 years.
